In the early days of Apple computers we used Appleworks. It had a word processor, database, and a spreadsheet. In schools, we were mainly concerned with the word processor. It was like a very fancy typewriter. The best thing about it was that it worked. Not fancy, but it worked. I wish we were still using it. Incidentally, I am not kidding.
